Clarington Glamour Photographer: Miss Christa’s Beauty Portrait Session

On a bitter cold Sunday in January, my good friend Christa Hann made her way from her home in Acton to my Oshawa portrait studio. We had made a plan months in advance to photograph each other. Christa was in need of some photos of herself for her sparkly new Sounding Board Sessions which is the new branch of her existing photography business and I wanted an opportunity to photograph her. We completed a swap and she took my portrait for me to use on my website. But it wasn’t all business. We got to get our make-up done at Sephora and made it a girls day.

I first met Christa in July 2010 at a photography workshop hosted by Justin & Mary. At the workshop not only did I learn how to reach out to like minded businesses and find my ideal photography client, but I gained a great friend as well. Christa has been a great support to me over the last couple years and her encouragement as I recently launched my new Glamour portraits has been one of the reasons why I decided to make the leap and try something new.

It was a fun day as it always is with Christa. She did and amazing job and looks beautiful.

Thank you for everything Christa.

I might be able to convince Christa to let me show some of the outtakes from the day. If you would like to see some of them, leave some love on the blog.

Monique Massabki - Great shots, Amanda. Of course, it helps that you had a beautiful subject. I think we’d all like to see any silly faces that Christa made (though I think even those will be fabulous).

Myrna - Amanda, these are beautiful. Christa, you are gorgeous!
And it just wouldn’t be Christa if there were no silly outtakes. Please share!
Christa’s friend,
Myrna
