Cobourg Beach Wedding Photographer – Jen and Jamie’s Beach Engagement Session

Jen and Jamie appear to be a normal engaged couple that have faced all of the typical challenges that a young relationship would have, but Jen and Jamie are not a typical engaged couple. In the time they have been together, they have not only faced some unique challenges but have overcome them with understanding and love.

They went to the same Bowmanville highschool but did not actually start dating until some time after graduation when they ran into each at a local watering hole by accident. That is when Jamie actively pursued Jen and soon they were a couple. In the time they have been that couple, they have survived and maintained a long distance relationship. Jamie, a Sergeant in the Army was stationed in Edmonton for some time while Jen stayed here at home. They made it work by travelling back and forth between Toronto and Edmonton and the occasional trip to Vegas, until Jen decided to move to Edmonton to be with Jamie before he went to Afghanistan for two years.

Now that Jamie is back in Ontario, stationed at CFB Trenton they have been able focus on their relationship and upcoming wedding which will potentially be taking place in about a year or so.

It was nice to get together with Jen and Jamie this past Easter weekend for their engagement session at Cobourg Beach. It was the half way point for myself and the couple and it made a perfect location. It was weird to be there and have fewer than several hundred tourists and local beach goers that you might find there during any day of the summer.

I am so happy for Jen and Jamie and as Jen’s cousin, Jamie definitely meets my standards and gets my stamp approval. I know that they will be very happy together and will have an amazing marriage.

I hope you enjoy the photos. And please share your gratitude and appreciation for Jamie and what he does to keep Canada safe.
