Oshawa Boudoir Photographer: A Moody Boudoir Session

I have been absent from the blog and photography in general over the summer. This was a very intentional step for me to take. There has been a lot going on for the last year in my personal life and I needed to make some decisions about what my priorities were and needed to spend some time with my family and on my own in order to make these decisions. We (my husband and I) are heading towards the finish line of the most challenging year of our marriage to date. I am very grateful that this is the case and that our marriage has dramatically changed for the better. We still have a lot to work on but we are least going in the right direction instead of circling around and around and around, getting nowhere.

These last several months has made me question a lot of the aspects of my life and made me consider what I want for my life. I don’t think I will ever have the full and complete answer but like my marriage, I am now going in the right direction and much closer to figuring at least some of it out.

But really the whole reason for this blog post is to show some images from a boudoir shoot I worked on earlier in the summer, so I should just get on with it.

Miss K is my best friend. We have had our challenges in our personal lives and in our friendship but we have come through it and remain very close, although we don’t see each other as much as we would like to. One of the things I love about Miss K is that she will pretty much go along with anything and with a great attitude. This shoot shows those characteristics pretty well.
